Omega Plastics Brief Comapny History

Omega-Plastics was started in the UK in 1998 as an offshoot from Omega Plastics in the USA. It was a trailblazing Company that was the first to introduce many of the techniques that are considered standard today in many Rapid Tooling shops in Europe.

In March 2006, Omega-Plastics in the UK was acquired by two experienced British Engineers. Dave Crone and Chris Thompson have a goal to make Omega-Plastics the most advanced, and technically competent rapid tooling and low volume plastic injection moulding company in the World.

Dave Crone - Managing Director

Dave Crone has been involved in Mouldmaking (Werkzeugbau / Formenbau) for over 25 years and is Managing Director for the new Omega-Plastics rapid tooling and low volume plastic injection moulding Company. A time served toolmaker progressing through design and managerial positions to his current role.

Chris Thompson - Chairman

Chris Thompson is a major investor in Omega Plastics and Chairman of the highly respected Express Group.
